Movie: When A Stranger Calls
Director: Simon West
Main Plot Summary: Jill Johnson goes babysitting and a stranger calls.
Wow. That's a surprise.
Anyway, the stranger gets really threatening and evetually chases Jill and the kids through the house and leads to a awesome ending.
Review: This was a great movie. The plot was simple (look at the title), but it was captivating. Jill Johnson (played by the lovely Camilla Belle--this will hopefully be her breakthrough role) is also a simple character. Basically, she is just your average teenage bimbette (I like that word) and that makes the movie scarier.
And here's a slight spoiler--THEY DON'T TELL YOU WHO THE KILLER IS. Ever.
Rating: ******** out of ********** (Eight Stars out of Ten Stars)
Recommened For: People who like a realistic fright; naivie babysitters (that'll teach 'em!); People who enjoy screaming during a movie (there was a lot of screaming at my theater. (About every five seconds there would be a mass scream; me and my sister screamed for the heck of it, but it was still a very scary movie!).
